UNIQUENESS IN CHIANTI CLASSICO.
The Lamole di Lamole winery has its home in Greve in Chianti (Tuscany), within Italy’s oldest and most famous appellation, Chianti Classico. Lamole di Lamole vineyards stand on one of the region’s highest points, between 1,150 and 2,000 feet in elevation. As a result, this location provides the ideal temperature variations, sunlight, and winds for excellent grape ripening. This privileged location provides elegance, richness, and persistence to the aroma and flavor potential of its wines.

Maggiolo Chianti Classico DOCG
Maggiolo refers to a plot of the vineyards where our grapes come from. Previous to grape growing, iris flowers (Giaggiolo) were cultivated in the same spot, and to this day, you can see them blossom during May (Maggio).
TASTING NOTES
Expressive nose of red cherry, earth, and warm spice framed by subtle vanilla notes of oak. The palate tastes of wild berry fruit preserves with lively acidity and a full, round body.
PAIRING NOTES
This wine pairs marvelously with dishes that are full of spices and herbs. It is also ideal with various types of soups, especially those made from chickpeas, wild peas, or lentils, and simply seasoned with extra virgin olive oil. A superb pairing for meaty dishes from Asian and Latin cuisines as well as Italian-influenced dishes, including eggplant parmesan, thick porterhouse steaks with parmesan roasted potatoes, or even spicy sausage and gorgonzola-topped pizza.
